A New Boxing Fan

This weekend, the big Pacquiao vs. Cotto fight was on. (Well, it wasn't really "on," but I was able to view it using methods in which I will not go into in this public forum.) I had wanted to see it at a local bar with a friend, but when it ended up that I would watch it at home, I figured Mrs. Architecturefootballandfood would put up her usual wall around anything related to sports. This time, I was incredibly pleasantly surprised when first, she quite willingly allowed me to show the fight on the big screen in our living room, rather than alone in the office, where I usually watch it. Then, as she sat with me watching Pacman systematically break down the bigger, stronger Cotto, we began shouting at the same time, talking strategy, talking punches, talking the way I would talk with any buddy of mine during a match. She was actually enjoying this! At a certain point during the fight I turned to her and said "So you actually like this, don't you?" And she responded positively.
We have a new boxing fan on our hands, ladies and gentlemen!!

Can't WAIT for Pacman/Mayweather this summer. It's gonna be -UGE!!!
