Bloom App

I have an I-Pod touch, but it does not [yet] have the upgrade necessary to install and play APPS on it. I will be performing said upgrade AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, after seeing this demonstration of an ambient music generator app by the brilliant Brian Eno.

What's up with Twitter? Who out there Tweets? How did we allow this thing to become a common verb? I'm a bit disturbed that this new "language" has become so ubiquitous - although I must admit at times I'm very drawn to the software and want to begin using it.
Although if I did, I would imagine I would probably never write anything, but just follow people. Is that how it works? Can I just pick and choose? I don't even know.
But to hear all these celebrities and (gasp) news presenters using the word "tweets" on nationally-broadcast public television and radio just makes shivers run up and down my spine.
